A reusable metal scraper and a thin plastic scraper do not have the same lifespan. There is therefore no single number of weeks or months that applies to every product.
When should it be replaced sooner?
Replace it according to the manufacturer's instructions if the surface is damaged, has sharp irregularities, is deformed or can no longer be cleaned properly.
Check the scraper regularly and store it so that it can dry. A damaged tool is more likely to irritate the tongue.
