Using more V34 does not necessarily produce a better result. Excess product can be harder to spread evenly, may colour the foam more strongly and can increase the chance of residue remaining near the gums or in hard-to-reach areas.
Start with the instructions
Use the amount stated on the packaging. If the manufacturer says to use a “small amount”, cover part of the bristles with a thin layer rather than applying a large portion as you might with toothpaste.
How do you apply it evenly?
- Use a clean, damp or dry toothbrush as directed.
- Place a small portion in the centre of the bristles.
- Spread the product across the front surfaces without pressing hard.
- Do not add another portion during use unless necessary and permitted by the instructions.
- Rinse the toothbrush thoroughly after use.
Signs that you may have used too much
- Strongly purple foam runs out of the mouth.
- Product collects along the gum line.
- It is difficult to remove completely.
- Irritation or an unpleasant sensation develops.
The V34 effect also depends on the starting shade of the teeth, lighting and how evenly the product is applied. Not everyone will notice the same result.
