Dark sauces can leave pigments on plaque, while balsamic vinegar is also acidic. You do not need to give them up, but frequent use combined with inadequate hygiene can encourage visible surface deposits.
After a meal
- drink water,
- do not brush aggressively immediately after an acidic dressing,
- remove debris from between the teeth,
- avoid snacking for many hours.
Surface deposits may gradually decrease with regular brushing. A hard, rough layer requires professional cleaning.
See Elixio toothpaste for care of surface deposits.
